Terms & Conditions

When booking a service with us the following terms apply:

  1. Unless stated otherwise, a minimum deposit of 35-50% is required to secure a booking with us. The specific deposit amount will be clearly indicated on the booking page.
  2. Balance of payment is due on the day the tour commences, and will be payable in person via credit card or cash.
    • Packages with a per person value of R5850.00 or less require full payment at time of booking.
  3. Failure to settle balance upon arrival shall be treated as a no show, and any deposit paid shall be forfeited
  4. If a product includes airfare, refunds or cancellations related to the flights included will be based on the airlines specific terms and conditions, and will be confirmed with you before finalising a reservation
  5. Costs related to changes or corrections on airfare will always be for the clients account
  6. Bookings cancelled up to 90 days prior to departure will be eligible for a full refund (excluding airfare)
  7. Cancelations made 89 to 14 days prior to departure will be eligible for a refund, exclusive of a 25% cancelation fee. Transfer of booking to another person can be done free of charge (excluding airfare – based on airline terms and conditions)
  8. Cancelations made 14 days or less prior to departure will result in forfeiture of all monies paid. Transfer of booking to another person can be done free of charge (excluding airfare – subject to airline terms and conditions)
  9. All our prices are exclusive of mandatory travel insurance
  10. In the event that Africranks is forced to cancel the travel arrangements, full refunds will be paid to the customer.

Refund/Return Policy on Products/Apparel

  1. Defective products may be returned for a full refund, only if the product is unused, and returned within seven days of delivery
  2. If sizing is incorrect, product may be exchanged for the correct size within seven days of delivery. If required size is not availabe, a voucher will be issued.
  3. Return shipping is always for the buyers account. In the case of defective products, after an assesment has been completed, shipping cost will be refuned to the buyer, if the product is deemed to be defective.
  4. Shipping will only be available within the territorial limits of the Republic of South Africa. Specific shipment terms will vary based on the shipping option chosen, and will be confirmed on checkout
